Bellano

Bellano is a charming village that combines history, architecture, and natural wonders. Its historic centre, characterised by an orthogonal structure of Roman origin, retains a predominantly medieval soul, with its characteristic contrade – narrow stone streets that provide coolness during hot summers. As you stroll, you can admire the majestic prepositural church of Santi Giorgio, Nazaro e Celso, the elegant patrician palaces with stone portals, evocative courtyards, and heraldic emblems engraved in the 18th century. The large ancient port testifies to the strategic role Bellano played in lake trade and transport over the centuries. Not to be missed: the Orrido di Bellano, a spectacular natural gorge carved into the rock, with panoramic walkways offering a captivating experience between water and light.

Varenna

Elegant and timeless, Varenna is one of the most charming villages on Lake Como, often referred to as “the pearl of the lake”. With its picturesque districts, narrow cobbled streets, and pastel-coloured houses overlooking the water, it offers a romantic and authentic atmosphere. One of the most enchanting spots is the Passeggiata degli Innamorati, a path suspended over the lake that offers breathtaking views and a unique experience in touch with the beauty of the landscape. Not to be missed: Villa Monastero, a splendid historic residence with elegant interiors and terraced botanical gardens that stretch along the shore, offering enchanting glimpses and a dreamlike atmosphere.

Bellagio

Renowned worldwide as one of the most enchanting destinations on Lake Como, Bellagio captivates with its prime location right where the lake splits into its two southern branches. This exclusive village offers spectacular views, with the Alps reflecting in the crystal-clear waters, providing postcard-perfect scenes. Strolling through the cobbled lanes and elegant squares, one breathes a unique atmosphere, made of history, luxury, and timeless beauty. Not to be missed: Villa Melzi, with its magnificent English gardens overlooking the lake. Parco di Villa Serbelloni, an oasis of nature and tranquillity with breathtaking views.

Como

Located on the shore of the lake from which it takes its name, Como is a city of refined charm, where history, culture, and natural beauty blend harmoniously. Its historic centre, still faithful to the ancient Roman castrum, preserves well-preserved medieval walls and imposing defence towers, testament to its glorious past. The beating heart of the city is Piazza del Duomo, dominated by the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, one of the most extraordinary monuments in northern Italy, with its magnificent Gothic façade and interiors rich in artworks. Como is also renowned for its long tradition in silk processing, an excellence that still characterises the city’s identity today.
